Vanessa Chan is a Malaysian writer preoccupied with the intersections between identity, colonization, and girlhood. She has work published or forthcoming in Conjunctions, Electric Lit, Ecotone, Best Small Fictions, and more. A fiction editor at TriQuarterly, and the co-curator of Pete’s Reading Series in Brooklyn, she has received scholarships to the Sewanee, Bread Loaf, and Tin House writers’ conferences, among others.
