Stacia Brown is a writer, mother, and audio producer. Her nonfiction has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and New Republic. She is the creator of two podcasts, a local history series called The Rise of Charm City and Hope Chest, collection of lyrical audio essays addressed to her daughter, Story. Her audio work has been featured in BBC Radio 4’s Short Cuts, an experimental audio narrative series. Stacia is a producer for NPR’s daily news and commentary show, 1A. She resides in Baltimore, where she is working on an essay collection and a novel.
