Nina Li Coomes is a Japanese and American writer and critic from Nagoya, Japan and Chicago, Illinois. Her work has appeared in The Atlantic, EATER, Catapult and elsewhere. She is a Pushcart Prize nominee, a 2018 Aspen Summer Words Fellow in Memoir, and is currently a MFA-MA candidate in nonfiction at the Litowitz MFA/MA at Northwestern University.
