Manuel is a writer and translator from Monterrey, México. He has been a fellow or scholar at the Tin House Summer Workshop, the Juniper Summer Writing Institute, and Community of Writers. His work appears in Puerto del Sol, Tinderbox Poetry Journal, Cutthroat Magazine, and has been anthologized in Puro Chicanx Writers of the 21st Century. Currently, he is the translator for the Borchard Foundation Center on Literary Arts and for A Leer Más Cuentos.
