COURTNEY COOK is author of THE WAY SHE FEELS: MY LIFE ON THE BORDERLINE IN PICTURES AND PIECES (Tin House, 2021). Courtney’s personal essays have been published by outlets such as TIME, The Guardian, The Rumpus, Hobart, Lunch Ticket, and Split Lip Magazine. Her poetry can be found in Wax Nine, Luna Luna Magazine, Maudlin House, and elsewhere online. Courtney received her BA from the University of Michigan and MFA from the University of California, Riverside. She grew up in Winnetka, Illinois, and now resides in Chicago with her cat, Bertie.
