Coryn Brown

Coryn Brown is a Harlem-based writer completing her debut short fiction collection. She is a winner of Center for Fiction’s 2019 Emerging Writer’s Fellowship, a 2019 MacDowell Colony fellow, a 2018 Jack Jones Literary Arts fellow and a 2015 alumna of VONA writing workshop. Her current work attempts to peel open the lives of black girls and women as they box with the sometimes subtle, sometimes brutal side effects of trauma. She received her B.A. from Fordham University. She is a copywriter by trade.
